By and large, it was fabulous base for sightseeing in San Diego, had much fun and met knowledgeable and respectful staff from check-in to check-out. There were airy, silent rooms with a good shower. Tunaman's Memorial was perfectly located around 4-6 minutes' walk from the hotel.

I recently stayed at Best Western during a family trip. Although I couldn't upgrade to a suite, the room I was assigned was conveniently located near the pool and restaurant/bar. The check-in process was friendly and prompt, and the room had a fridge and microwave. Despite some noise from the nearby ice machine, we decided to stay put and enjoy the nice pool temperature. The staff was responsive and friendly, and the hotel had incredible views, updated amenities, and clean pools and Jacuzzi. The outside fireplace was a great touch, and the location was perfect with easy access to downtown and the airport. The restaurant served a delicious meal, and I would definitely stay at Best Western again.
